Solids Control & Centrifuges
Though often overlooked, effective solids control plays a crucial role in maintaining drilling fluid quality and reducing operational costs. Dewatering
Premium Solutions operates a fleet of mobile dewatering trailers to separate solids from water-based drilling fluids and production waste streams.
Our Q-ENVIRO System is an innovative, cost-effective solution for treating both water- and oil-based onshore drilling and production wastes. It combines chemical flocculation with dewatering to significantly reduce the volume of generated waste.
Q-ENVIRO Process
- The Q-ENVIRO System is a chemical flocculation and separation system for drilling wastes
- Oily waste water is treated and sent to a Geo Textile dewatering container where the solids are effectively dried
- The separated water & oil permeates through the textile container to a contained area on the outside
- The recovered liquid on the outside is pumped to an oil water separation tank and separated into clean oil or water for reuse in the drilling fluid system
- The dried solids inside the container are removed and treated for final disposal greatly reducing the overall volume of waste generated by the drilling operation
Dryers
Dryers are the preferred method for maximizing recovery of oil- and water-based fluids and can reduce drilling waste by up to 50%. PGS provides both mobile and skid-mounted drying units, designed to operate efficiently in limited spaces, serve multiple rigs, and deliver lower volumes of waste. Skid-mounted units are ideal for pad drilling and high-capacity operations.
High G DRYER

Thermal Desorption
Thermal desorption uses indirect heating to vaporize oil from inorganic solids in an anaerobic environment. This process treats solid to semi-solid wastes with organic contaminants. PGS offers advanced thermal solutions that help clients operate in environmentally sensitive areas while minimizing costs and removing contaminants efficiently.
Auger Systems
Our Auger Systems enable zero-discharge, high-throughput handling of drill cuttings. By eliminating the need for a track hoe to transfer cuttings to a dryer or haul them offsite, the system minimizes the risk of environmental spills at drilling locations.
